The plant is an evergreen tree with smooth,gray-brown bark and glossy, dark green leaves. "Sweet orange" exists in a number of varieties such as Navel, Valencia and Jaffa. The fruit is spherical with a pebbly textured peel and bright orange color. The flowers are white with five petals that curl back.
