The plant is a biennial or perennial herb with a spindle-shaped taproot. The stem is bristly and bears rigid branches. Its flowers are dandelion-like, sky blue, 1 to 1 1/2" wide. The leaves are broadly oblong or lanceolate with ragged indentations and hairy. The root is roasted & Ground.
